A third of the way done! What a great stepping stone. Tomorrow (well, now today...silly night passing me by) we'll take 30 day pictures and weight. Not sure if we're also doing measurements.
Awesomely I didn't feel sore arms today, though they were literally shaking at the end of yesterday's workout. Yay recovery drink!
Tonight was by far the most frustrating day of P90X, and it had nothing to do with the workout. The workout was plyo... which isn't my favorite. But, I can see improvements in what I'm able to do. Tonight my squats were deeper and my jumps more jumpy. Plus yesterday's run showed me that I am improving at running via these workouts. The frustrating part was my wonderful son. Last night he woke twice (we're really blessed with a boy who generally sleeps through the night) and I was tired to begin with. I thought about just going to bed, but at 9:30 decided to do the workout instead. I figured I'd rather be up another hour than have to get up and workout in the morning with a second workout tomorrow evening. Isaiah had went to bed at his usual 7-7:30 time. But, he woke twice crying just during the warm up. All in all my workout lasted over 2.5 hours (for a 58 min dvd), three clothing and diaper changes, and several feedings from both me and bottles. Eventually I just let him play in the living room on a yoga mat while I worked out; that worked for about 40 mins and then that stopped working too. Apparently plyo is pretty funny to a 7 month old! He just sat there staring and laughing most of the time. He's been teething and that's clearly the problem. Very oral fixated. Very awake. Still. I think I'll go try to get a shower in. Once we lower that crib he can sit and stare in there.
