Day 17

Shoulders & Arms. This was an odd day. It was only the second time I've done this workout and I won't be doing it again until week 9. The thing that was odd, though, is that I'm still trying to figure out the best and most effective weights for most of the moves. My weight option is 5lb, unless I want to strap on wrist weights and add 1-6 lbs that way; but then I'd have to be pressing pause a lot. I also use the bands, but some moves are too tough for me with the lightest bands and some are just awkward with bands. And hopefully the next time I do this workout I'll be stronger and trying to figure out weights all over again!

Ab ripper was encouraging today because I feel like progress is being made. This workout is done three times per week and it's crazy how much my ability varies each time. Today I was able to do everything for all the time. I'm not sure that I did the full number of reps on all, but I did them for the whole time. My biggest struggle on this one continues to be the side v ups. There's just something about those that make me feel like I'm flopping like a fish. It's a similar move to something I used to do in pilates, and I never mastered it then either. I think my new ab ripper goal is to be able to do those...
