Tonight was Shoulders and Arms, plus Ab Ripper X. You do Ab Ripper every time you do a strength based workout; not on cardio days (such as plyo or kenpo).
I've never had the chance to do Shoulders and Arms before. Last week we didn't do it because we were working out live with Tony that day. And for whatever reason it's a workout I never did with Todd on his first round. I hope I can move my arms tomorrow. I liked how the workout was set up. You do a shoulder move, a bicep move, and a tricep move; then you repeat those same three moves. You have a short break and you work the same areas with different moves. And you keep doing this for about an hour. But, as I've mentioned before, my arms are probably the area I most want to see change in. I was excited today to see that my arms are already looking a little different to me.
The other area I hope will change a lot is my belly... silly pregnancy. I'm still enjoying the Ab Ripper workout. Can't always do all of each workout, but I'm always able to challenge myself. Today I could really feel muscles working on a couple of moves. Odd how those muscles change after a c-section. I'm curious how much the cardio will help me shed the doughiness and how much I just have to allow my skin to un-expand.
Recovery drink enjoyed. Time for some time of the porch with my hubby.
