Day 19

Today was legs and back. I like seeing progress in this one. It's a workout we get to do pretty much every week (excluding recovery weeks) and it'll be awesome to continue to see how far I can push it. We're in week 3 and I was able to do most of the one legged wall sits. Just gave up on the last set. (6 total sets, 3 each leg) ... perhaps by week 12 I won't be grimacing by the end!

This workout was also much nicer without the long run today. (Last Monday I ran 9 miles in the morning, then did this workout at night.) I was really able to get some depth in the squats and lunges. Yay, progress!

One of the things I really like about P90X is that there are a lot of workouts that deal with arms (or back, or shoulders). Any home workout I've done before has almost treated arms like an afterthought... there might be 5-10 mins of weights after a cardio. Any workouts I've done at the gym have been better with arms (basically going around to machines in a set order) but haven't been very exciting or fun. I like the variety P90X gives me. And I like that my arms are looking better. Can't wait to see the continued change over the next 71 days!
