Today, being Columbus Day, I had the day off work. So, after sleeping in (glorious) I walked the boy down to daycare and went for a 9 mile run. What a beautiful Nebraska day! I should've used magic pink tape on my ankle, but otherwise the run was nice.
So, today was Legs & Back. I was pretty nervous about doing this after the 9 mile run, even with the 8 or so hours between. I was more or less able to do the same amount of reps as the last time (there are sheets where you keep track so that you can see your progress). The one legged wall squats are still evil; this was the one where I was only able to do one... just sat in a regular wall squat the rest of the time. I'll be curious to see how the legs feel when I wake up tomorrow.
The Back part was pull ups. I used the green bands again (thickest, most resistance). I like that I feel I'm making progress with this. I'll like it even more if I can do some pull ups 78 days from now. I did try one the other day and was actually able to bend my elbows somewhat... it may not sound like much, but it was progress for me!
In more exciting progress, I was able to wear some shorts today that I haven't worn in well over a year. And most of my pre-preggo pants are now too big. Yay!
