Ugh. Another late night. We had hoped Isaiah would be in bed at 7 (his usual time) so we could get our workout in before the Beachbody Webinar. But, he was a tad fussy today (2 top teeth coming in) and wasn't down until almost 8:30. The funny thing was from like 7 on he really wasn't fussy... just giggly and awake. Anyhow, webinar was at 9 so workout started after 10.
And today was Yoga X... which means over 90 minutes. Triceps hurt from yesterday so I wasn't able to push through to upward dog like I was hoping. I like that the workout is generally tough for the first 1/2 and then eases into balance and stretch, ending with a calm 'ah' feeling. Perfect for before bed. Which is good, because I'm so there when I finish typing this. At least tomorrow is Columbus Day; I'm hoping the boy will cuddle with me after Todd goes to work. Course, Todd has to go to work... and on Mondays he has to be there at 6:30. So, he's asleep... if you read his blog I'm guessing he'll post tomorrow. He seemed exhausted, but he was a real trouper and stuck with the workout till the end. Or at least until relaxation pose; but then that's always when he falls asleep...
I've decided that often the 'push play' part is the hardest part of the workout (any workout). Just that mental challange to stick with the plan when something else would be easier or offer immediate gradification. Once the workout is going on I'm rarely tempted to stop and always happy when I've completed it. So, in my post-workout-happy I will leave you...
